The FFEx Power
Ratings are based on strength of opponent, margin of victory, total
yardage differential, turnover differential, and other related
statistics. Wins and losses are not factored in; losing a
close game to a highly-ranked opponent can increase a team's rating,
while winning a close game to a lower-ranked team can actually
decrease a team's rating.
 | To calculate a hypothetical margin of
victory: take the difference between the
teams' power ratings after adding 3 points to the home team's rating.

| To calculate a hypothetical total score: add the two
teams'
over/under rating and divide by two. |
